Open the window, or the screen which you want to capture. Now, you can start capturing the screen. Press the Print Screen key to copy the screen’s content.
Locate PrtScn key on your keyboard along the function keys, which are the F1 to F1 button.
Pressing this button will let you copy the screen’s contents into the computer’s clipboard.
Now, you have to save the captured image. Open Paint application on the system.
Type Paint in the search bar of the Start menu and hit Enter. Select the name of the application to open it.
When the Paint opens on screen. Paste the picture by pressing Ctrl +V key together on the keyboard.
You will notice that the picture captured is pasted in this app. Now, save the image.
Go to File tab in the menu bar at the top of the window and select Save As option from the drop-down list.
Finally, name the picture file and select an image format. Type any name as you desire and in the Save as section, select the format. A user can select the format between JPG, BMP, and a GIF among others. Select JPG for a picture format.
Check the file location and open your file.
